Radiation background in Chornobyl is lower than in Kyiv. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Ostap Semerak wrote about this on his page on facebook.

Radiation measurement

Ostap Semerak visited Chornobyl and compared radiation background readings with those in the center of Kyiv - 0.12 and 0.17.

According to Semerak, radiation background measurements were made in the exclusion zone and on the Lesia Ukrainka Boulevard, which is a vivid proof that nature has the ability to recover.
